Richard Degree
Golf Operations Manager
Richard has worked in the golf industry for over 20 years. He is a class level 2 instructor and was a member of the 2018 Class of Kids Golf Top 50 Teachers. His goal is to create outstanding opportunities for young golfers to learn in a fun and rewarding environment that instills a love of the game and engages the entire family.
Michael Cunningham
Lead Golf Instructor
Coach Cunningham studied under the legendary Jimmy Woods. He has over 30 years’ experience teaching elite and junior players. He is certified in Golf Position System and Anatomy Trains and Functional Patterns. His goal is to help each player find their own personal swing DNA and flush out gross motor flaws that cause major swing flaws.
Jakari Harris
Golf Instructor
Jakari Harris is currently an LPGA Apprentice and has played golf for 16 years. She previously worked at the PGA Tour Superstore as a club fitter. Right now, she is also a Ph.D. student at Georgia Tech and Emory University studying Biomedical Engineering. Jakari is an alumna of Hampton University, where she played on the Women’s Golf Team all four years.
Nyre Williams
Affiliate Golf Instructor
Coach Williams has over 20 years of experience and is a Certified US Golf Teaching Federation Instructor. Over the years he’s coached thousands of Junior players through the First Tee Program. He’s certified to teach golf swing and specializes in lowering scores. His mission is to provide short game essentials, have fun, and lower scores. Nyre is currently employed full-time as the Director of Outreach Programming with the First Tee Metro Atlanta.

Golf Instructor
Coach Lott is an LPGA member and site director for two LPGA USGA Golf Sites. Her passions are teaching and exposing girls to the opportunities that golf provides. She enjoyed growing the number of female players at the First Tee of East Lake, many of whom have received scholarships or advanced their careers through golf networking. She is excited to coach at Sugar Creek! Brittny is currently employed full time as the Outreach Coordinator with First Tee Metro Atlanta.
